Bryan Martello is an artist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He likes taking pictures and making things to take pictures of. He is a 2022 Heinz Creative Development Award recipient. His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows, most recently at Bunker Projects and blankspace in Pittsburgh. He attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2016. He received a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently works at The University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. He lives with his husband Jason and his chiweenie dog Jasper.
